Regent Punch

Ingredients

• Put into a large porcelain bowl 1 pound sugar
• 1/2 pint strong tea
• the juice of 2 lemons
• and 4 oranges
• 1/2 pint brandy
• 1/2 pint Jamaica rum
• 1 bottle champagne

Method

   Stir sugar with strong tea, lemon juice, orange juice, brandy, and rum until sugar dissolves.

   Strain into a punch bowl, add ice, or bottle and chill before serving.
