Queen Cakes. 3 oz. butter. 2 tablespoons milk. 3 oz. sugar. 6 oz. self-raising flour. 2 eggs. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, beat well; add milk, with a few drops of essence in it. Fold in sifted flour, and bake in a fairly quick over (425 deg.) for 10 minutes. Two tablespoons of cleaned currants may. be added if liked.
