Puff-Paste Cups with Oysters

Ingredients

• a pint of oysters
• half a cupful of cream
• fresh butter half the size of an egg
• salt
• pepper

Method

1. 1

   Cut rounds from puff-paste with a cooky-cutter, cut out the middle to form rings, and stack them on a complete round.

   Bake until brown, brush with beaten egg, and glaze in the oven.

   Cook oysters in their liquor until boiling, add butter, cream, salt, and pepper.

   Cut oysters into pieces before cooking.
