Puff Paste

Ingredients

• one pound of flour
• one pound of butter
• enough cold water to make a stiff dough

Method

1. 1

   Rub half the butter into the flour, add water to make a stiff dough.

   Roll out to half an inch thick, place half the remaining butter in the center, fold corners over, and roll out again.

   Repeat this process four or five times, resting for half an hour between each rolling.
