Prune Cake

Ingredients

• 13 C. Sugar
• 4 tsp. Salt
• 2C. Flour, sifted
• 1 C. Buttermilk
• 1 tsp. Soda
• 3 Eggs (whole)
• 1 C. Wesson Oil
• 1 C. diced cooked Prunes
• 1 C. Chopped Walnuts
• 1 tsp. Cinnamon
• 1 tsp. Nutmeg
• 1 tsp. Allspice

Method

   Sift together flour, sugar, and all dry ingredients.

   Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

   Pour into an oblong pan or two smaller pans.

   Bake at 400° for about 20-25 minutes or until done.

   Do not remove from pan immediately.
