Holt 12 eggs (whites) 1 pound of flour, 1 pound of sugar, f pound of butter, 1 pound of raisins, 1 heaping teaspoon of baking-powder, 1 wineglass of whisky with a little nutmeg grated into it. Wash butter and then cream it very light with sugar. Beat whites to stiff froth.
