Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 2/3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 2 cups cake flour
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring

Method

   Cream butter and sugar.

   Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.

   Add the flour, beat and add flavoring.

   Bake in very slow oven about 350 degrees.
