Potato Donuts

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup sweet milk
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 3 tsp. baking powder
• 1 cup warm mashed potatoes

Method

   Sift dry ingredients; add beaten eggs and milk also potatoes.

   Add melted shortening and enough flour to roll.

   Have fat for frying heated until a cube of bread becomes golden brown in 60 seconds.
