Potato Border

Ingredients

• three average-sized potatoes
• 1oz. butter
• the yolk of one raw egg
• a dust of coralline pepper
• a spoonful or two of milk

Method

1. 1

   Peel and boil the potatoes until dry, then sieve them.

   Season with salt, mix in butter, egg yolk, and pepper.

   Roll into a straight roll, cut in half, shape into a border, brush with beaten egg, and bake until golden brown.
