Plain Cake

Ingredients

• % c. fat
• 1 c. milk
• 6 t. baking powder
• 1>^ c. sugar
• 2^ c. bread flour
• }i t. salt
• 2 eggs
• 3 c. pastry flour
• % t. vanilla

Method

   Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.

   Cream fat.

   Add sugar gradually and beat until light and fluffy.

   Add milk and beaten egg and fold in the flour.

   Add flavor.

   This will make three layers or a loaf cake.
