Paisley Rolls

Ingredients

• 4, oz. Brown & Polson’s Paisley Flour
• 8 oz. Ordinary Flour
• Yolk of an Egg
• ¥% tea-spoonful Sugar
• 2o0z. Butter
• ¥Y, tea-spoonful Sait
• 1 gill Sweet Milk

Method

   Rub butter into the flours.

   Add salt and sugar.

   Mix in the egg yolk and milk to form a soft dough.

   Roll out to 0.5 inch thick, cut into squares, roll into rolls, brush with milk, and bake in a quick oven for 15 minutes.

   Cool on a tray.
