Contributed by Sally Robinson Hance, iYz lbs. hot mashed Irish potatoes, 1 lb. granulated sugar, J4 lb. butter, 5 eggs (leaving out whites of two), 1 teacup sherry, 1 nut- meg (grated). Beat eggs very light, then add the sugar. Mix butter with potatoes, while the latter are hot, and gradually add the sugar and the eggs; then the seasoning. Bake in open paste. BALTIMORE GINGER SNAPS.
