Oxford Grace Cup.— Take the peel of a lemon, extract the juice, and cut the peel into thin slices. Put it in a bowl or jug, pour over it a pint and a half of strong home-brewed beer and a bottle of sherry ; grate a nutmeg into the cup ; sweeten to taste ; stir till the sugar is dissolved, and then add three or four slices of bread, toasted brown
