OIL MANGOES. Take green tender melons, cut them open, take out the seed, fill them with salt, and let them lie twenty-four hours. Make a filling of one pound of white mustard-seed, one pound of grated horse-radish, half a pound of garlic, one ounce of green peppers chopped fine, one ounce of race-gin- ger cut fine, two ounces of allspice, one ounce of mace, two ounces of celery-seed, and four table-spoonfuls of pure olive- oil
