Oatmeal Drop Cakes

Ingredients

• 2 cups of H. O. (rolled oats)
• 1 cup of seeded and cut raisins
• 1 cup of pecans or walnuts
• 1 cup of butter
• 1 scant cup of sugar
• 3 beaten eggs
• % teasp. of soda
• J^ cup of milk
• the grated rind of 1 orange
• 1 tbsp. of the juice
• 2 cups of flour

Method

   Chop oats, add raisins, nuts, creamed butter, sugar, beaten eggs, and dissolved soda in milk.

   Add orange rind, juice, and flour.

   Drop onto buttered tin and bake.

   Pack in layers with paraffine paper.
