My Favourite Toffee

Ingredients

• half a pound of butter
• one pound of treacle
• one pound of brown sugar
• four ounces of blanched almonds

Method

1. 1

   Combine butter, treacle, and sugar in a saucepan, boil while stirring.

   Bake almonds until brown, stir into the mixture, pour into a buttered tin, and mark into squares when cool.
