Mushroom Cake

Ingredients

• 1 packet Green's Sponge Mixture
• 2 Eggs
• 2 ozs. Butter
• a pinch of Salt
• 2 ozs. Ground Almonds
• 14 Tablets of Fondant Icing
• 13 teaspoonsful of Water

Method

   Make a Victoria Sandwich and fill with Jam or Cream.

   Prepare Marzipan by warming Fondant Icing with water and stirring in Ground Almonds.

3. 3

   Shape the Sandwich to resemble a Mushroom, brush with Apricot Jam, cover with Marzipan, hollow the top, and fill with Fondant Icing.

4. 4

   Shape Marzipan into a stem and place on the Cake.
