Molasses Cookies.^Take one cupful of sugar and one cupful of but- ter or good shortening. Cream them and add two cups of molasses and two eggs. Dissolve two good-sized teaspoonfuls of soda in a little hot water, and fill up the cup it is in with cold water. Add it to the other mixture and stir in enough flour to make a soft dough
