Mock Chicken Pie

Ingredients

• Pare and slice 1 qt potatoes
• and 3 onions
• add 2 tablesp butter
• 1 teasp sage
• 1 teasp salt
• slice 6 hard-boiled eggs

Method

   Cook potatoes and onions until tender, then drain.

   Place in a buttered dish, layer with sliced eggs, moisten with potato liquid, cover with biscuit dough, and bake.

   The potato water can be thickened and served with the pie.
