Mock Birds (Pork)

Ingredients

• thin slices of lean, boiled salt pork
• any preferred dressing
• some finely minced onion
• a little flour
• add some water
• and pepper to taste

Method

   Spread dressing on thin slices of lean, boiled salt pork, fasten the ends together with toothpicks, brown in a pan, then remove to a platter.

   Add minced onion and flour to the fat in the pan, brown, add water and pepper, return the rolls to the gravy, and let stew for about 2 hours.
