Mincemeat Drop Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/4 lb. butter
• 1 qt. mincemeat
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 cup. quartered nuts
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 4 c . sifted flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Method

   Cream together butter and sugar.

   Add eggs and mix well.

   Add mincemeat.

   Sift together flour, soda, and baking powder.

   Add to creamed mixture and mix well.

   Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.

   Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

   Frost with butter icing.
