Milk Toast

Ingredients

• Take 2 tablespoonfuls of flour
• and 2 of butter
• and ]4 a pint of hot milk

Method

   Toast slices of bread, butter them, and keep warm.

   In a saucepan, cook flour and butter, then gradually add hot milk while stirring.

   Let it boil and pour over the toast.
