Meringue Toast

Ingredients

• Dissolve I teasixionfui of butter
• in J^ a cup of boiling milk
• add the well-beaten white of i egg
• on toasted bread which has previously been dipped in slightly salted water

Method

   Dissolve butter in boiling milk, add beaten egg white, and pour over toasted bread dipped in salted water.

   Bake in the oven for 5 minutes until slightly browned.
