Maryland Biscuits

Ingredients

• 2 qts flour
• 1 teasp salt
• 1 cup butter
• wet with cold water to form a dough

Method

   Work butter into flour, wet with cold water to form a dough.

   Knead on a board for about 15 minutes, adding flour to prevent sticking.

   Roll out to 0.5 inch thick, cut with a biscuit cutter, prick holes with a fork, and bake immediately.
