Macaroni and Tomatoes

Ingredients

• Four ounces pipe Macaroni
• Two ounces of Butter
• Half a pound of Tomatoes
• Pepper to taste

Method

1. 1

   Boil macaroni for half an hour in boiling water, then drain.

   Butter a pie-dish, layer macaroni, skin tomatoes by pouring boiling water over them, slice, and layer on macaroni with butter and pepper.

   Repeat layers until dish is full, leaving tomatoes on top with rusk-crumbs.

   Bake in the oven for a quarter of an hour.

   Serve with grated cheese.
