Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

• 4 cups macaroni
• 1/2 lb. of butter
• 1 lb. Eastern cheese, not too fresh
• 1 cup milk
• 2 cups cream
• salt
• paprika

Method

   Into a large saucepan of rapidly boiling salted water, drop the macaroni broken into bits.

   Boil for 0.5 hour or until very tender.

   Drain in a colander.

   Heat butter in a chafing dish, stir in flour, then add milk gradually.

   When boiling, add macaroni, cream, and remaining butter.

   Stir in cheese just before serving.
