Loaf Cake

Ingredients

• Two large coffee cups of powdered sugar
• 1% coffee cups of butter
• 5 cups of flour
• 3 teaspoons of ;^east powder
• 1 cup of sweet milk
• ^ pound of raisins
• 2 ounces of citron
• 1 grated nutmeg
• 1 wine glass of wine
• 1 of brandy
• 8 eggs

Method

   Add flour with milk, sugar, and butter and yolks well beaten; then whites, wine, spice, and fruit.

   Make this in 2 loaves and bake slowly for 1 hour.
