Layer Cake with Chocolate

Ingredients

• % lb. of butter
• % lb. of flour
• % lb. of sugar
• 2 heaping tsps. of baking powder
• 6 eggs
• % lb. of chocolate
• % cup of cream
• 1 % tsps. of vanilla
• 4 tbsps. of sugar
• 3 eggs

Method

   Cream the butter, then mix with sugar, yolks of eggs, flour, and lastly the baking powder and beaten whites of eggs.

   The chocolate is grated and mixed with half of the batter.

   Bake in four layers, 3 light or yellow ones and 2 dark ones containing chocolate.

   For the filling, mix cream, yolks of eggs, vanilla and sugar, cook in a double boiler to a thick cream, let it cool, mix with beaten whites of eggs and spread between the layers.
