Kiss-Me-Quick Pie

Ingredients

• one cupful of sweet milk
• one cupful of water
• one tablespoonful of cornstarch
• one teacupful of sugar
• two eggs
• piece of butter the size of hickorynut
• one-half cup of chopped raisins
• one-half cup of chopped dates

Method

   Boil water and milk, stir in cornstarch, butter, and sugar.

   Let cool, beat yolks, stir in.

   Line pie plate with crust, pour in mixture, and bake.

   Beat egg whites, add sugar, spread over top, and brown slightly.
