Joan Crawford Fudge Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cup butter
• 1 cup sweet milk
• 0.25 cups brown sugar (firmly packed)
• 2 cups cake flour
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 0.5 teaspoon salt
• 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

   Cream the shortening and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

   Add eggs one at a time, beating vigorously after each addition.

   Stir in melted chocolate, then alternate milk with sifted flour mixed with soda and salt.
