Japanese Fruit Cake

Ingredients

• 2 Cc. Sugar
• 1 C. Butter
• 3 C. Flour
• 1 C. Milk
• h Eggs
• 2 tsp. Baking Powder
• + tsp. Salt

Method

   Cream butter and sugar together.

   Beat in one egg at a time.

   Beat thoroughly, then stir in salt and baking powder last.

   Divide batter equally.

   In one part add: 1/2 C. chopped nuts, and bake in 2 layers.

   In the other part add: 1 Tb. cocoa, 1 C.

   Raisins, 1/2 C.

   Nuts, 1 tsp.

   Cloves, 1 tsp.

    Allspice, 1 tsp.

    Baking Powder.

    Bake in two layers.
