Indian Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups corn meal
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 teasp soda
• 1 teasp salt
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup melted butter
• 2 cups rich sour milk

Method

   Mix corn meal, flour, sugar, soda, and salt.

   In another bowl, beat eggs and add melted butter.

   Mix in sour milk and combine with dry ingredients.

   Bake immediately in flat pans or as a loaf.
