Haricot Beans in Green’s Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 pint of Haricot or Butter Beans
• 3 pints of Water
• 2 ozs. Butter
• 6 tablespoonsful Green's Tomato Sauce
• 1 teaspoonful Salt
• 4 saltspoonful Pepper
• 1 oz. Flour

Method

1. 1

   Soak Beans in boiling water for 12 hours.

   Put into a casserole, cover with water, and cook for 3 hours.

3. 3

   Mix Flour with a little water to a thin paste, stir into Beans, add Tomato Sauce, and continue cooking for another hour.
