Ground Rice Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoonsful ground rice
• 1 pint milk
• salt
• flavouring
• 1 egg well beaten

Method

   Put ground rice into a pan, mix it with a little milk; add the remainder of the milk, salt, and flavouring.

   Allow to boil for about 7 minutes, then remove from fire.

   Add beaten egg, pour into greased pie-dish, put into hot oven and cook for about 15 minutes.
