GOOSEBERRY FOOL, Take green gooseberries ; to every pint of pulp add one pint of milk, or one-half pint of cream and one-half pint of milk ; sugar to taste. Cut the tops and tails of the gooseberries ; put them in a jar with two tablespoonfuls of water
