Gherkin Sandwiches a la Digre

Ingredients

• six medium-sized sour gherkins
• two spoons of Parmesan cheese
• yolks of two hard-boiled eggs
• six slices of bread
• three tablespoons of butter
• pepper
• salt

Method

1. 1

   Chop the gherkins and mix with chopped parsley.

   Stir the butter to a cream, add gherkins and parsley, and spread on the bread.

3. 3

   Cut the bread into diamond shapes, chop the yolks finely, and arrange in a cross shape.

   Decorate with stirred butter and garnish with parsley.
