Fudges

Ingredients

• One and a half pounds pulverized sugar
• 1/2 pound 'Baker's' chocolate
• 1/2 pound butter
• 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
• 1 cup cream

Method

   Grate the chocolate, add the cream, then the butter and sugar.

   Boil until the mixture is thick, stirring frequently; before removing from the fire, add the vanilla.

   Pour into a buttered pan and cut in squares.
