Melt together, stirring constantly, and be care- ful not to burn it. Apply once or twice daily. 42 DOMESTIC GUIDE. ANOTHER OF THE KIND. Clean lard 3^ ounce. Glycerine ]^ ounce. Spermaceti i dram. Camphor I dram. Oil of rose 5 drops. Melt the spermaceti in the lard and the other ingredients. Use, as the case requires, once or twice daily. FOR COUGHS AND COLDS. Alcohol I ounce. Oil of anise i dram. Oil of almonds i dram. Balsam of tolu i y^ drams. Balsam of fir i %^ dram
