Ingredients

• 8oz. butter
• 12oz. flour
• 8oz. stoned and picked raisins
• a little milk

Method

   Rub butter into flour, add raisins, mix to a stiff dough with milk, roll out, and bake on a girdle until browned, turning only once.

   Cut into squares, butter well, and serve hot.
