Eye Water

Ingredients

• Table salt, of each 1 tablespoonful
• white vitriol, of each 1 tablespoonful
• add them to soft water, 1-2 pint
• putting in white sugar, 1 tablespoonful

Method

   Heat the salt and vitriol until dry, then add to soft water with white sugar.

   If too strong, add more soft water.

   Apply to the eyes three or four times daily.
