Devils' Food

Ingredients

• Whites 8 eggs
• 1 cup of butter
• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup sweet or sour milk
• 3 cups flour
• 1/2 cup grated chocolate melted

Method

   Cream the butter and sugar together; add the chocolate, then the eggs.

   If sweet milk is used, use two teaspoons of baking powder.

   If buttermilk is used, use one teaspoon of soda.

   Whichever is used, add next to the mixture and lastly the flour.

   Bake in solid mold.
