CURRIED MEAT. Melt two tablespoonfuls of butter in a chafing-dish and cook in this a small onion cut in thin slices. When it is well browned add to it a tablespoonful of flour wet up with a little cold water, a tea- spoonful of curry-powder, the juice of a lemon, and a gill of hot water.
