Cup Cake

Ingredients

• Four eggs
• four tumblers of sifted flour
• three tumblers of powdered white sugar
• one tumbler of butter
• one tumbler of rich milk
• one nutmeg
• one teaspoon powdered cinnamon
• one small teaspoon soda

Method

   Warm the milk and melt the butter in it.

   Beat the eggs and stir into the milk, alternating with flour, add spices, and lastly the soda dissolved in vinegar.

   Stir hard, butter small pans, fill half, and bake in a moderate oven.
