Creamed Tomatoes

Ingredients

• 1 qt canned or fresh tomatoes
• 1 heaping tablesp flour
• 1 heaping tablesp sugar
• 1 teasp salt
• a pinch of soda
• 1 cup thick, sweet cream

Method

   Let tomatoes come to a boil, then add flour, sugar, salt, and soda mixed with cold milk.

   Let boil once, then add cream and heat through before serving.
