Cottage Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 tsp. butter.
• 1 tbsp. milk.
• 2 tbsp. sugar.
• 34 tbsp. flour.
• + egg.
• 4 tsp. baking powder.
• Salt.

Method

   Cream the butter, add sugar gradually, and egg well beaten.

   Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk to first mixture; turn into a buttered timbale mould, and bake 25 minutes.

   Serve with a sauce.
