Corn Meal Muffins

Ingredients

• 1 c thick sour milk
• 1 tbsp melted fat
• f c corn meal
• 1 tsp salt
• c flour
• 2 to f tsp soda
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 egg

Method

   Dissolve the soda in the milk.

   Add the meal and flour at once.

   Stir till well mixed.

   Add the sugar, salt, and egg.

   Beat until the egg is thoroughly blended with the batter.

   Have the gem pans well greased and very hot.

   Fill two-thirds full and bake 10 to 15 minutes in hot oven.
