Cocoa-Nut Cake

Ingredients

• one-half cupful of butter
• one and one-half cupful of powdered sugar
• two-thirds of a cupful of sweet milk
• two cupfuls of flour
• three eggs
• one and one-half tea-spoonful of baking-powder

Method

   Beat sugar and butter, add yolks, then flour, and finally egg whites and baking powder.

   Bake in three medium-sized cake tins, spreading each layer with icing and sprinkling grated cocoa-nut thickly over it.
