Clam Chowder

Ingredients

• 2 shces bacon
• 1 small onion
• 3 or 4 medium sized potatoes
• small piece butter
• 2 dozen clams
• 1 quart hot milk
• 4 soda crackers

Method

   Cut bacon in small pieces, fry for a few minutes.

   Add sliced onion and fry for five minutes.

   Cut potatoes very small, add to bacon and onions, cover with water and cook until soft.

   Chop clams fine.

5. 5

   Five minutes before serving, add clams and juice, then hot milk and butter, and broken soda crackers.

   Serve at once.
