Chocolate Empire Cake

Ingredients

• Take 5 eggs
• the grated rind of 1 lemon
• 1 cup of granulated sugar
• 1 cup of grated chocolate
• 1 heaping cup of cracker dust
• ^ of a pound of almonds
• the juice of ^ a lemon

Method

   Beat eggs and sugar for half an hour, then add chocolate, cracker dust, almonds, and lemon juice.

   Bake for 1 hour in a slow oven with a cup of boiling water.
