Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 package Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate
• 1 egg, well beaten
• 1 cup sifted flour
• 14 teaspoon salt
• 14 teaspoon soda
• 14 cup chopped nut meats
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup butter or other shortening
• > cup granulated sugar
• ‘4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Method

   Cut chocolate into pieces.

   Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

   Add egg and mix.

   Sift flour with salt and soda, then add to mixture.

   Add chocolate, nuts, and vanilla.

   Drop onto greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
